This class, taught at Dallas’s Creative Arts Center, in East Dallas, will offer students the opportunity to fully explore kiln-formed jewelry. Students will focus on guided projects featuring one new fundamental skill per class session. Each class will begin with instructor demonstrations of one ‘micro skill’. Recommended class projects will be for students to pursue on a semi-independent basis, emphasizing both technical and creative ‘stretching’, demonstrating use of glass, unique and instructor-made tools.  Students will expand their understanding of technical and creative development methods.

This is a complete fusing class with an emphasis on artistic possibilities of glass. Students will work on individual projects of their choice.  Students need to bring glass tools, safety glasses and creativity.  Please note: this class is only for those students who have completed at least two sessions of ‘Intro to Slumping & Fusing’.

About Kessler Craftsman

Larry Pile, known as the Kessler Craftsman, is based in Dallas, Texas in the Kessler Park historical neighborhood, adjacent to the famous Bishop Arts District.
