This fun class allows up to 8 lucky students the opportunity to come into Larry’s Kessler Park Studio and each create a 10″ x 10″ square/curved sushi plate and matching wasabi dish….whether you use it for sushi or not is up to you!
The instructor will supply all glass, materials and teach students enough techniques to create one 10″ x 10″ plate. These will then be loaded into one of the large computerized glass kilns and fired for approximately 14 hours, then placed in a mold and slumped, or heated into a gently curved shape. Students will have choice of several different styles and colors, so that their work of art is truly one-of-a-kind.
This class is suitable for humans 12 years old and up. Students under age 15 must be accompanied/supervised by an adult.
