About Kessler Craftsman Stained Glass Lamps

Be sure to view the Kessler Craftsman's portfolio and catalogue for detailed examples of our craftsmanship.

Kessler Craftsman stained glass lamps are unique in a world where stained glass lamps are cheaply made overseas in India or Mexico. So many times, a mass-production manufacturer fails to consider the considerable weight of a stained glass lamp, resulting in panel movement and separation of the lamp cap from the actual lamp. This results in an inferior, and often short-lived, product.

In addition to using premium art glass, Kessler Craftsman lamps are soldered together with thick reinforcing wire ensuring a lifetime of stability and durability. Additionally, all lamp caps are soldered on to the lamp utilizing traditional methods augmented with reinforcing wire. Unlike many others, my lamp caps will never separate from the heavy glass lamp - this is a lifetime guarantee.

My stained glass commissions may be created utilizing traditional materials (which use lead and brass) or modern, lead-free materials. It is my strong feeling that traditional materials, when used properly, function best and pose no health risks. Nevertheless, Kessler Craftsman customers have the option of specifying the materials used in their commission.
